Circus Freaks

Beth & I went to the circus this weekend. It was pretty fun actually. We hit up Solara's to say hi to Jim then headed over to the Target Center. There were protesters outside holding signs of how circuses mistreat animals. Beth got a little anxious that she was supporting the tyrants that bringeth evil. I hope they dont treat them too bad & I justified this circus because they are big, reputable, & we were already there with free tickets so we didnt support anything.

It was quite entertaining. Some highlights were the tigers which could walk on hind legs & do a cool weave thru poles. The monkeys were pretty good. They were jumping 16 feet out and 12 feet in the air. They had 4 bikes riding in the biker ball of doom with 2 girls standing in the middle. That was scary. We saw the high wire act in which these crazy kids jumped over each other. One guy kept falling and luckily he caught himself with his hands before he fell to his death on the ground. They didnt have any nets below. They even stopped the show for a bit to make sure he was ok. He fell again later but grabbed the wire again. Beth & I were sweating and had major adreneline going. Imagine that guys adreneline levels. Finally, their feature act was the human cannonball. Man, that guy was really flying high and far thru the air. He had upper deck height & flew across the entire floor of the Target Center. It was sick. I give the circus a 9 of 10.
