Volleyball

Beth and I have joined Erik's volleyball team in a league for the summer. We play outdoor at Joe Sensor's in Roseville on Thursday evening. We have a great team that constantly makes plays like these ---> We have had Andy, Kris, and Mary sub for us so far when we are missing a guy or girl. They have done well. The worst part is having to explain the guy/girl hits rule to them because its such an outdated rule from the 80s. If your team makes 2 or 3 contacts, a girl has to be one of them or you lose the point. This rule gets new guys every time they 1st play. Our record (4-8) doesnt show our how good we should be. But this last week we just went 3-0 and will continue the streak next week. Choosing to play v-ball instead of the Plymouth disc golf league I did last year was a really tough decision for me but it seems like the right one by a long shot.
